You send us a photo of your truck so we can show you what it would look like with new wheels. That photo, your email and your phone number are the only things we ask for, and we use them for that job and to call you back. We do not sell them.

What we collect

• The photo of your truck. Uploaded by you, on purpose, to be rendered. We strip the embedded camera data — including GPS location — from every photo the moment it arrives, before it is stored.
• Your email address, when you create an account, ask for a quote, or sign up for new-product email.
• Your phone number and name, when you request a quote. The quote is closed on a call, so the number is the point.
• Your truck's details — year, make, model, and the wheel and tire sizes you tell us — so we can check what fits.
• Ordinary web records: pages visited, and enough of your network address to stop one script from flooding the site. No advertising trackers, no third-party cookies, no data brokers.

What we do with it

• Render your truck with the parts you picked.
• Call or email you back about a quote you asked for.
• Keep your saved builds and your truck on file, so your next render is one click — only if you made an account.
• Fill and ship an order you have confirmed on the phone.

That is the whole list. We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not send you email you did not ask for.

Who else touches it

Building a render takes services we do not run ourselves. Each one only gets what its job needs:

• Google (Gemini API) — renders the photo of your truck with your chosen parts.
• Cloudflare (R2) — stores your photo and your finished renders.
• Supabase — stores your account, saved builds and quote requests.
• Render.com — runs the website itself.
• Resend — sends sign-in links and order email.

When you pay, payment is handled on the payment provider's own secure page. We never see, handle or store your card number.

How long we keep it

• Your uploaded photo: about 30 days.
• Your finished renders: about 90 days, or for as long as you keep them in your garage.
• Your account, quotes and orders: until you ask us to delete them, less any records we are required to keep for tax and warranty.

Your say

Email hello@buildmytruck.us and we will, at your request: send you a copy of what we hold, correct it, or delete it. No form, no fee, no hoops. If you are in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia or another state with its own privacy law, those rights are yours by statute and we honour them for everyone regardless.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Cookies

We set the few a working site needs: one that keeps you signed in, one that protects forms from being submitted by another website on your behalf, one that remembers your truck so the shop can filter to what fits, and one that holds your build list. No advertising cookies.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are stored hashed, never in a form we could read. Sign-in links work once and expire in twenty minutes. Card numbers never touch our servers at all.

Changes

If we change this page we change the date at the top. If a change is material and you have an account, we will email you.
